Account Executive Needed at FOX 9

Job Description:

KECY-TV FOX 9 Account Executives are responsible for generating revenue from the sale of television airtime to local advertisers within KECY-TV Â’ s coverage area through the development of an active list of customers and prospects.  Responsibilities include; knowledge and preparation of station advertising rates, current programming, Nielsen, market competition, and the organization of this information into oral and written presentation form for the client sell; the timely completion of internal paperwork including weekly sales planners and any other reports requested by the Local Sales Manager; and, attending sales meetings as called by the Local Sales Manager.  

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements are 40 hours a week, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.  Candidates must possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude, strong written and oral communication, organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work under pressure.  Prior broadcast sales experience preferred.  A car in working order, car insurance, and a valid driver’s license required.  The candidate must pass a drug test and a background check.
